What I Value at Work
always pay close attention to both my own safety and the safety of everyone around me, with the goal of creating a workplace where everyone can work with confidence.
I also place great importance on communication and make a conscious effort every day to create a positive and enjoyable working environment.

What I Find Rewarding
I enjoy working at the site because communication is open and smooth, both among the team members and with management.
I also have a strong working relationship with the foremen who can confidently take responsibility for the site. This makes it easier to coordinate work instructions with each department and creates a strong sense of unity across the entire group.
Because the team works together so well, I am able to focus on supporting everyone and helping operations run smoothly. That is one of the aspects of the job that I value most.
Workplace Culture
Communication between Japanese and international staff is very open and friendly throughout the workplace. Everyone can easily discuss work, exchange ideas, and give instructions while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
The entire group works together as one team, allowing us to stay on schedule and concentrate fully on the work at hand.
For me, this is an ideal working environment.
Message to Future Colleagues
NES provides an environment where Japanese and international staff can communicate naturally and enjoy working together as a team.

I wanted to find a job where I could make use of the skills and qualifications I had gained in my previous position.
While reviewing several job listings at the public employment office, I found an opening at NES. The qualifications listed for the position closely matched the certifications I already held, so I decided to apply.

What I Value at Work
n my current management role, I focus on carrying out every task accurately and efficiently while maintaining a well-organized approach to my daily responsibilities.
For safety management, I conduct regular site patrols and use KY activities—hazard prediction meetings—and work instruction sheets to maintain a high level of safety awareness among workers.
I also place importance on planning, reporting, communication, and consultation. By maintaining strong communication with both workers and colleagues, I aim to become someone the team can rely on.

What I Find Rewarding
I find the work especially rewarding when communication with our international staff helps the team complete assigned tasks smoothly.
Through my experience in shipbuilding, I continue to learn new terminology, how to read technical drawings, and various specialized skills. Being able to see my own knowledge and abilities grow day by day gives me a strong sense of achievement.
Workplace Culture
There is a great deal to learn in shipbuilding, and the workplace provides an environment where I can easily consult with the branch manager whenever I need guidance.
Communication among senior staff and colleagues is also very strong, and everyone works together closely. I feel that NES has a positive workplace culture where people can cooperate and move forward as a team.
Message to Future Colleagues
I currently work as a manager supporting and training international workers.
Our workplace includes many international employees who speak Japanese well, so new employees can communicate with those around them and become part of the team smoothly.
NES also has many Filipino Supervisors, or SVs, who are highly proficient in Japanese. They provide extensive support in both work-related matters and everyday life.
This support system helps create an environment where people from different backgrounds can work and grow together.

What I Value at Work
My responsibilities include schedule management, quality control, workplace patrols, welding instruction for Filipino staff, and guidance on factory rules and procedures.
Depending on the situation at the site, I also join the team directly and carry out welding work alongside other staff members.
The most important principle for me is Safety First.
I always aim to create a workplace where every employee can work safely and finish each day with a smile.

What I Find Rewarding
his is my first experience working as a manager, and I have found it very rewarding to see Filipino staff gradually become more comfortable approaching me for advice about both work and everyday matters.
Through these conversations, I have developed a stronger sense of both responsibility and fulfillment as a manager.

The senior employees are very approachable, and we have a relationship where we can easily discuss questions and ideas.
Working with Filipino staff has also given me the opportunity to experience different languages and cultures. They are cheerful, friendly, and approachable, which creates a warm atmosphere and makes them wonderful colleagues to work with.

As an SV, I am currently responsible for training and developing Filipino staff, supporting their transition into new workplaces, managing work sites, and proposing operational improvements.
I also receive consultations about everyday life in addition to work-related matters.
My goal is to create an environment where every person can work confidently in Japan and enjoy a comfortable daily life.

What I Find Rewarding
I feel a great sense of fulfillment when Filipino staff come to me for advice, we discuss the situation together, and they are able to move forward in a positive direction and say, “Thank you.”

Why I Joined NES
During high school, I obtained bookkeeping qualifications and became interested in work that involved using computers.
Until the end of last year, I worked as an administrative receptionist in the medical department of a hospital near my home. Through that experience, I also came to better understand my own developmental characteristics and the working environment that helps me perform at my best.
I wanted to continue developing my career in administrative work and also contribute to my hometown of Nagasaki, which led me to choose NES.

What I Value at Work
I currently handle a wide range of administrative duties, including attendance management and purchasing.
I make a habit of checking my work carefully several times so that I can identify anything that needs attention on my own and maintain accuracy in my work.
I also continue to value something I learned during my school years: “Be the first to greet others, and always greet them with a bright voice.”

What I Find Rewarding
Two months have passed since I joined NES, and the range of responsibilities I handle has gradually increased.
As I continue with my daily work, I can see myself becoming more efficient at the tasks I am familiar with.
I am also very happy when senior colleagues say things such as, “You work quickly and efficiently,” or “You help us with so many things.”
Those words encourage me and give me the motivation to keep doing my best every day.
Workplace Culture
NES is my third workplace, and it has been the most comfortable environment for me so far.
Everyone takes the time to explain things carefully and continues supporting me until I fully understand each task.
The employees working at the sites also have a friendly and lively relationship with one another, and I feel that they make a wonderful team.
